When asked "what do employees want?", supervisors
rated "good pay" as #1 and "job security" as
#2. In reality, employees said the most important job attribute
was "interesting work", and the second most important
was "full appreciation for work done". However, supervisors
rated these responses as #5 and #8 respectively. So, how do you
reward and recognize your employees?
Imagine people are wearing a flashing neon sign over their heads that says “TIP US”. Now, a tip doesn’t need to be monetary. A tip in the truest sense is a “gratuity” meaning showing gratitude. How do we show gratitude? Here’s some guidelines:
